Ask... ask... ask....

Sometimes a pic/location neefs a proper investigation to find the answer. I like it :)

A presentation.

Since it's mothers day tomorrow: your mother still around?

A card is all I can afford until my pay rise comes through next week, have been unable to do much more than pay my rent, communications and transport costs for a while now. If I wasn't on a ridiculously cheap rent I'd be in real trouble. Thankfully I've had some good friends supporting me through this rough patch (that's lasted nearly a year). The only gigs I've been able to go to have been either free, or my name has been on the door. The bands generally supply drinks and a meal in exchange for my putting their work up on yootoob. Occasionally they even give me some cash too!

What's the unemployment situation like over there?

Half of Eurozones average: 6.4% for us dutchies. But still rising.
Social security/unemployment benefits are so-so.

Your name on the door? Please elaborate?

If you have to pay to get in, band members, or someone involved in the show or club can usually put a friend's name on the door so they don't have to pay to get in. A guest list basically.

Do you pass the dutchie to the left hand side? :D

[Edit: ah :D left or right. As long as it's a fair sharing no one bothers :D ]

'Video not available on mobiles'
This is with many yootoob vids.

Why?

I've no idea.

Did you try to view it using the yootoob app, or via your browser? It may make a difference...

...hitting the hay now, see ya on the flip side.
