Assigning apps to sd card

I put 64gb into my edge and went to the app manager to assign the apps to the sd card. I assigned the first app but now when I go into other apps there isn't the option to assign the apps to sd card. Why would this be the case??

Go to settings, application manager, choose the app you want to move. Then click storage and select sd card.
There is an app which while highlight all the apps that can be moved, however you still have to manually move them.

Hi tried to assign some apps to the sd card, now when i go into the application manager and go into the apps im nor being given an option to save to sd???

Plus now my facebook icon has an sd symbol on it and it says that the application is nor installed

Did you format your sd card as internal (adoptable) or external(portable)?

Tried to use an app to do it but a message came up about partitioning the sd card? What is rooting? I have been downloading movies and fhry are being stored in gallery and wanted to move these to sd..
