Can anyone tell me if there is a way to change the trackball color not using any apps from dev's?
Is there any way to hack the original ROM and change it ?

i'm rooted ,but have the original ROM and i don't want to change it...

any help is appreciated !

Install Blink from the Market, no need to hack or change anything.

You need an AOSP with trackball alert support built in for what you want.
