Asteroids HD [First Mobile Game]

Hey all! I've just completed my first android game and thought I'd introduce myself to the forums since I'm planning on making more games and it would be good to get to know the community!

So my game is Asteroids HD, it's now available here: Asteroids HD

Thank you, I've got several ideas I'd love to make a reality, this one was to get my feet wet in the whole process of creating a game to getting it out there, big learning experience it was.

Your link appears to be broken.
I searched in the PlayStore for your app thinking I'd fix your link, but there are alot of Asteroid games.
Can you post the link again? Or fix your link?
If you need help, just ask:)
 
The PlayStore said the app was compatible with my Kindle Fire and my Samsung S3.
I couldn't download it to the Fire, but could to the S3.
Not sure if its an issue with my Kindle Fire or not :dontknow:

Huh, alright thanks!

I heard recently that there were something like 100+ (could be more) apps on the app store that could now work with the kindle fire, I haven't researched how I can achieve this, I'll look into that!
 
No biggie, I just played it on my S3. (found that landscape mode is the best to play).

Like I said, I don't know if it's my Kindle or not, but other games (card type games) are no problem to play on it. I've been having slight issues with the Kindle since I rooted it, so it may not be your app ;)

Yeah, that's a bug I have to fix, I had it in landscape only mode but since putting ads in it, it messed up my script. It technically works in portrait, but really poorly.

Alright cool, I'm looking into it now though, it does seem to be slightly more work to get it to function on a kindle, I'll have a go at it.

I've fixed that problem now, I'm updating it currently

Now it will automatically start in landscape, it only allows left or right landscape mode

Edit: ok, it's not updated yet, run into a snag.. I'll let you know when it's fixed anyway
 
Damn.. I messed up.. When finishing a game and uploading to the app store, you must first "sign" the app, I did this, all was good. I went to fix my game with the portrait mode, went to sign it again and the original signature was lost..

I made one again, did everything the same, but google doesn't allow a signature that isn't the exact one that you uploaded the first iteration of the app..

So it's forced me to submit the app again, and to do so I had to remove the other one..
