Root Asus and macbook

Hi, I new in this forum and I need some help pls. this is My question I have an Asus transformer TF101 with and android version 3.1 and I have an apple Macbook, and I would like to root and install ICS on my transformer using my macbook, if someone can help me plz with this I'll appreciate your help.

Welcome to the forum.

You don't have to root to have ICS on the TF, Asus has already pushed out an ICS update (and just recently an update to that update). If you haven't already, go to menu > settings > about tablet > system firmware update to see if there is an update waiting for you.

If you want to root your device for some other reason, then I'd suggest doing some research in the thread below to familiarize yourself with the process. The 'NachoRoot' will most like by the one to use. But you might be able to use the One Click Root, depending upon which version of the Asus firmware your tablet has.
