ok I played with one briefly and loved it, more than my ipad mini. Do i need a cellular plan to access the play store or can I use wifi only? sorry if this has been answered before but I couldnt find it

Like Jhawk said the tablet is wifi only. I have one and use it all the time for browsing mostly but it is great on trips for media consumption. I would also recommend getting the dock if you get one.
