Asus Transformer Prime playback issues. Assistance required.

Greeting fellas!

I seek Your wisdom. I bought Asus Transformer Prime. It's good, but still I'm facing issues with .avi files playback. You see, when I'm trying to watch movie in .avi format, any player automatically stops playing it in random time and just return me into movie list menu without any notice or error. Other files like .mkv are good and stable.

Tried several different players, installed codecs, updated device, reinstalling OS is not helping either.

Can you suggest me, what shall I do in this situation?

Thank you.

I think you should try Dice Player. MX is also a good choice, but it is not able to force Hardware Acceleration on unsupported file types. On my Sensation, since mkv files are not supported by the system player, the most MX, Rock Player or Mobo can do is use software decoding instead of hardware decoding (hardware acceleration saves battery as it offloads the process to GPUs and allows you to watch full HD videos if your GPU is powerful enough). With Dice Player, I actually can force Hardware Acceleration on almost any videos I can find.
