Asus Transformer TF101 - Can default Browser remember Passwords ??

Hi,
Totally new to the android/pad world.
Have an Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101.
If this isn't the right place to ask this question, please let me know.
My local WiFi connection works as follows:
Connection to the WiFi hub is open and I have that set up to connect as soon as I turn on the Pad. However the connection from the WiFi hub to the internet is password controlled via the first page you open with any browser.
No Login name just a password.
So every time the pad goes to sleep it will disconnect and I have to type in the password again.
Is there any way that (1) I can make the browser remember the password or (2) even better if it would not disconnect in the first place or connect automatically.
If you do have some help for me please explain it step by step since I'm totally new to this new language used in the pad.
Thanks for your help.

Hi! I'm not sure if this will work for your device (this tip was for the Motorola Triumph) but I remember seeing that if you go into WiFi Settings>Menu>Advanced and check "Set sleep policy to never." it should make it so that the WiFi won't turn off when your device sleeps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the WiFi disconnect policy and it was already set to "Never". So that idea wont work. Actually it's not the connection to the WiFi hub that disconnects it's the connection from the hub to the internet that comes up with the login page once the tablet has gone to sleep. I know in Firefox and Explorer on my laptop they both will remember passwords when prompted. I can't seem to find that option on the built-in browser for the Asus Transformer.
Anyone out there know if the built-in browser for the Asus Transformer TF101 has the option to remember passwords. Then All I would have to do is hit enter to sign back in ??????

Yes you can save the passwords. Go to Browser, in the browser go to settings, privacy &security settings, scroll all the way down and check the box that says remember passwords
