AsyncTask Question

Hi All.

I am creating an app. I am calling an AsyncTask that calls a webservice. This is working fine, I think.

I was wondering what happens to an AsyncTask task that is called from one activity if the user goes to another activity before the AsyncTask returns. Does anyone know if the AsyncTask will keep going? It is proving difficult to determine.
