However, now that we have a way to recover if we soft brick our Razr's we should see much more activity on the DEV front.

Obviously the G Nex. If you didnt know and those that dont know...its considered a dev phone. Which means its totally open for custom ROMs. The RAZR is more locked down.

Root has been almost universal for all Android phones, custom ROMs is another story.

Though I think the Razr is a far better device as a total package (build, storage, touch response, reception, call quality etc), no doubt the Gnex is the way to go if the rom scene is your NUMBER ONE priority.
