Root [AT&T] ADB/motochopper issue

I've been at this for a few days now but with no luck.

I'm trying to root my s4 i337 but keep getting "adb is not recognized as an internal or external command" when I use motochopper. I tried downloading sdk tools and changing the path under environmental variables but still has done me no good. Are there any other ways to root?

I am having issues too, I believe the bootloader is locked and the work around has not been released yet. Or at least in my searching this is what I came up with

I am also dealing with the same issues with my s4. I have downloaded Samsung Kies and SDK mgr ending up with the same end result with motochopper and OneClickRoot. The phone is in my device list and in debugg but no such luck.

Its not the bootloader cause it has been unlocked, as mine is, so there must be another problem. Make sure you read through the official xda thread and do exactly what it says, im sure someone there has had the same problem you have too so your question has probably been answered.

This is what i used to root, but it also unlocks your bootloader and installs custom recovery if you are wanting to install custom ROMs. If you just want root, dont use this, once the bootloader has been unlocked, it cannot be locked again, you can unroot though.
