I have a standard AT&T Galaxy S3 SH1747 that was rooted when my firm ware was an earlier version. ( think 4.2) suddenly phone updated itself, and now i have android 4,3 and a problem.
My phone was previously successfully rooted, and now I have no root access, though traces of the root can be seen when I try to boot into recovery mode. (I have CWM)
I tried re-rooting using saferoot
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuBuD9aL12o
and everything was fine until I was supposed to allow SuperSU to update itself, at which point it says,
"There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!"
I tried re-installing Super SU, but it will not update and won't work.
Given my situation how can I get my phone rooted again?
thanks!
