Hey guys how are you? I have had an s3 for a few years and the charge port finally bit the dust. I bought a different s3 and everything works great but it has the app drawer burned into the screen. I called a few repair shops and they all told me to just swap the motherboards out of both the phones and not to have the screens swapped. Would this fix the newer burned image phone or should I just sell it and have them try to replace the USB port in my old phone? Any help would be greatly appreciated I just want to make the best decision and would preferably like to use the newer s3. Thanks!

The burn is in the screen not the motherboard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_burn-in You can find Youtube vids on how to replace the screen.
