Root [AT&T] Cheapcast Help :(((

So I downloaded Cheapcast from the Play store about a week ago on both my Nexus 7 (2012) and GS3. From the get go my N7 recognized it and work, but hasn't worked at all on my phone. Does anyone else have similar problems or a proposed fix? Thanks in advance.
 
i haven't used CheapCast since it first launched.

back then i was on CM10.1.3 on both devices and no issues.
