Help AT&T Galaxy S3- Add multiple inboxes to home screen?

Hi All,

Is it possible to have multiple email inboxes on the home screen? For example, I have a work and a Yahoo email address set up.

The stock "email" icon is shown on the home screen, but I'd like a direct shortcut to each individual email inbox. Is that possible?

Thanks!

Michael

I don't know about the stock email app because I don't use it. I use K9 mail and you can do this with it. Use the 1x1 widget and it'll ask you which account.

Go to your widgets menu, look for Email account 1X1, when you drag it to your home screen it will ask which email account you want it to link to. I have Touchdown (for work exchange account), gmail1, gmail2, and AOL on my home screen.

I have (3) pop3 email accounts and gmail on my home screen.
I get the notification in the status bar but the individual icons don't change for new mail.
I'm about 2 days old with my new S3, I'll figure it out eventually.

Thank you! Perfect!

I just moved over to the S3 from a BB Torch. I have my 4 email addresses set up on the home screen now, which is great, but like sdtag mentioned they don't get notifications of new email on them, so I have to rely on the notification bar at the top which doesn't specify the address that received the new mail. I would like to have the individual address icons tell me if there is new mail. I have plowed through a few different email apps trying to find one that behaves more like my BB did because that's what I like, what I'm used to and what works. Any suggestions?

Duck_man, I know this is really old, but did you find an answer to your question. I had a Galaxy S4 for about a week and went back to the iphone because the email was better. I have multiple yahoo email accounts for different businesses and couldn't chance confusing them in the "all in one" inbox apps that I kept finding. Can I have an app that shows me all the different inboxes as a glance?
