When you power on, does it vibrate like normal? It is possible your screen has died. You can take the phone apart and clean the contacts of the display to the mainboard. Perhaps the connector came loose or is dirty. There are only ten phillips-head screws in the back, and essentially the phone will fall apart in your hands.
