ok so i disabled all the AT&T software, but it there anyway to get rid of the AT&T text on the lock screen as well as the drop down menu? thanks

A replacement lock screen like WidgetLocker will take care of the lock screen (plus give you a ton of customization options). with this app, is there anyway to still have a lockscreen wallpaper and a homescreen wallpaper, or do they have to be the same?

Go to settings in WidgetLocker, one of them is appearance I believe. Inside there you will find an option for alternate wallpaper.

It been a while since I have used the app since I really like the new JellyBean lock screen, but I know the alternate wallpaper setting is in there somewhere.
