AT&T Latest Update

Newbie
Anyone knows what the latest update benefit is to a note 5? Think the prompt update came up on my phone about two weeks ago. I've been ignoring it since there has been no description.

No, you don't have the update.
Looks like you're still on the firmware that the phone had from day one, or, an update behind the current one.

On second thought will probably wait for a major update such as an os upgrade. Looks like some people are having operational problems with the latest update.

Would like to confirm if the "continue update" button is part of the choices under "software update " See screen shot.

Mine is greyed out. I asked this because I inadvertently started to download the latest at&t software update when I turned on my WiFi. Soon after I turned off my WiFi. Wonder if I have a incomplete software update file on my phone. If so how can I get rid of it? Don't want to update yet.

Are you still seeing this,or,did the update finish downloading?
I just had a similar situation with an update on an AT&T phone (battery dropped below 50%).
I'm guessing as soon as you're back on WI-FI,the download will continue.
If I remember correctly, you have the option to install immediately after d/l,or,you can choose to install it later.

For some reason a status bar on my screen, which by the way I could not get rid of, with the the option to install came up along with to install later on greyed out. And yet I still have the continue update greyed out as shown in my original posting. Funny thing I made sure I wasn't on WiFi all this time and yet it appeared the download update was complete. Decide to throw in the towel and install the update. Fortunately no issues yet. Anyway still have the continue update greyed out.

As a side note. Att is persistent in making us to update

Hey guys,
Has anyone experienced severe performance loss since the last AT&T update? My brand new Note 5 has become almost unbearable to use. Even as I type this message, whole words will be missing while Swipe... with the trail missing. When I unlock the phone it will take 5 seconds to even register the sound much less activate the screen. Am I the only one out there that is experiencing this?
Thank you,
Chase
