I'm rooted on the stock AT&T JB 4.1.1 update. I can't stand the stock Messaging app since it doesn't have a Pop Up window option. I have flashed several ROMs and taken the stock MMS app from those ROMs and installed it on AT&T JB as the system messaging app. The MMS app works great with the exception of when I send/receive a MMS message. It crashes the MMS app. I can reopen the app but when I click on the thread of the person who sent the message, the app crashes again. A reboot doesn't fix the issue either. It appears as if I have to delete that persons thread in order to text them again.
Can anybody help me fix this issue or at least help me understand why it doesn't work?
