Help AT&T One X Updates

syvmn

Newbie
I've had my phone a week now and am wondering how one goes about getting the updates that AT&T puts out.

Does the phone automatically do it over the air, or do I need to keep an eye on a webpage and periodically download updates manually for my phone.

Thanks!

Go to your settings screen and scroll to the bottom. You'll see the AT&T Software Update button and you can check from there. I just checked it and there's nothing new for me.

I hope an update does come out soon for the battery issue a lot of AT&T users are experiencing (myself included). 4 hours of moderate use before needing a charge is not good.

Sorry about your band battery. You might have a bad phone . I get about 18+ hours out of mine with 3 to 4 hours of on screen time. I've herd that a lot of people get that. I've not herd about people getting that bad of battery.

I think I am going to go back today and get another one. You are probably right. Only wish I could get my Zune music on it. Otherwise the One X is an amazing piece of hardware.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why the international version of the One X is getting all sorts of updates and the AT&T version hasn't had a single one?

Are the phones that much different or is something else going on?

Don't get me wrong I LOVE my phone, I just think with a few tweaks it would be that much better...
