AT&T root/paradise island backup

ok, i know this has been asked multiple times but i am looking for a way to save a paradise island game.

A gal i know is wanting me to root her phone but she doesn't want to loose her paradise island (for a second time)

Is there some way to either back it up or root the phone with out wiping it?

I know on another phone that i rooted (droid 2) i was able to break it without loosing any data or settings, is there anyway to do this on the AT&T phone?

Root methods differ from handset to handset so it really depends on the model. I know when I rooted mine I had to downgrade the OS, then root. It's now done with a 1 click tool which doesn't require the downgrade and there's no data loss so you might be in a similar position.

Which handset are you looking at rooting?

being 5:00 AM i cant text her to ask her which one, but i know it is an HTC one, with no front face buttons, i think it might be the inspire, i know the power button is on the top.

If you are able to tell from that description. If not i will find out tomorrow and post

If it is the Inspire you're in luck as the same 1-click root method for the Desire HD (mine), works for the Inspire too.
