AT&T sent tether email but I don't tether

I can't address what acdodd meant but will trow this short story out there. Bought a Dell desktop, my first computer. Literally, the day after warranty expired, the power supply failed. Normally, I'd have said my loss but in researching replacement, I found discussions like this one. I found a pattern of corporate wrongdoing on a global level. We all had the same lot and batch numbers and Dell knew they were defective and knew it would fail around 1 year. I was in their home state so I investigated and got confirmation locally. Once I brought this up and that I would file the lawsuit, I received a new power supply within a week.

Way to go and conngrats MCW!! However in my case with AT&T they do not want me to have my grandfathered truly unlimited data/tethering package which I have had since 2003. They are offering to let me out of my contract... of ccourse, I have steadfastly refused to relenquish my package but they still want me to agree to take another package which I also steadfastly refuse to accept... This has been going on since Nov and I finally contacted an attorney two days ago,,,,
