Root [AT&T] Slimbean ROM

Please excuse my ignorance but a friend of mine rooted my phone as I hadn't the first clue how to do it, so if I am not posting enough please advise.

I have Slimbean ROM but I am getting serious serious battery drain. Can anyone give me any tips or advice?

Try and post what your battery stats are. You can access those in your Settings/Device menu.

Is there an app showing as the biggest battery hog?

"google search" is the biggest hog at 29%. What is that about? Was never like that before root. My friend who is also running slimbean screen shot his battery status to me and his Google is only 2%. Am lost here!!

You can screen shot by pressing down the volume down and power at the same time
