I just got a new software update on my AT&T S3. I already did the Kit-Kat upgrade. Does anyone know what his is? Hopefully it won't kick by batter life down to zero.

I just got this a few minutes ago, but since I am rooted with a custom recovery, the update failed in any case.

Did a Google search and found the following:

Update the Samsung Galaxy S III (i747)- AT&T Wireless Support

Looks like it is an upgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 that came out in June (FNJ1 versus FNE4).

I saw that, but it really doesn't say what it's doing. "Android OS Enhancements"? Could it get more vague?

It's probably bug fixes. Maybe even 4.4.4.

Android Version still says 4.4.2 after the update...I haven't noticed any changes so far.

Guess it's a moot point. Went out and got an LG G3 last nigh. I'm such a bad boy.
