AT&T has updated one of their lesser Android tablets to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It's the LG G Pad F 8.0, which was on 5.1 previously.
Alongside Marshmallow, the update also brings the latest security patches and also adds, removes and updates various pre-installed apps:
- Upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- Google security updates for Android
- AT&T Services updates
- AT&T Locker now 2.0
- Keeper removed
- myAT&T is a full preloaded app (was weblink)
- Ready2Go replaced with Setup & Transfer
- Kindle removed
- AT&T Mail now a VPL
- AT&T Messages VPL added
- DIRECTV VPL added
You can get the update by heading to Settings > About Device.
