I need some help from my fellow Androidians.
I was born and raised in Tucson and have lived here most of my life, but at 54 years old, and with retirement on the horizon, I am looking to make a cooler/wetter change down the road here. It is just way too hot and dry for this old lady to stay here any longer than necessary.
My husband wants to live in the south, and I am fine with that, as long as it is not too far to drive to the mountains for a day trip. I was raised with mountains, and just can't give them up. I know that the Blue Ridge and Smokey mountains are gorgeous, so that settles that problem.
Any farther north would be way too cold for us Tucsonians.
If anyone here can shed some light on the beauty/lifestyle/economy of these three location choices in my title, it would be so appreciated.
Thanks,
Damewolf13
