Help Atrix 2 without data plan

My sister is wanting new device only she is not wanting a data plan. During the setup is there an option in this device to choose no data plan? Thanks in advance.

Not that I'm aware of. You can turn off data sync, but most carriers that I know of, wont activate a data capable phone without data.

Is in a contract? If no, what price range is she looking for?

Yeah, it's on contract with AT&T.

I believe ATT under contract will only activate smart phones that dont have wifi, if you choose to go the non data route. I ran into that issue with a couple carriers before i went the non contract route.
