Atrix 4G 10% battery life increments - will it be fixed?

Hey all. Owned the atrix 4g since February and love it to death. Only thing that's annoying is the battery monitor built into the phone. It only shows increments of 10%. I have battery indicator from the market and have a 1% hack enabled in the settings to fix this, but it's just another annoying icon on the notification bar. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about, but I was wondering if Motorola has plans to fix this?

I use circle battery. It shows up on the desktop.

Well, I don't particularly want another widget on my homescreen. It's already filled with the things I need.

Another strange glitch I noticed with my phone is that when I reboot it, the battery jumps up anywhere from 20-30 percent higher than what it had said previously.

As far as I can tell, all Motorola phones have that 10% battery setting.
Hopefully soon, they will stop that practice, and give us accurate battery readings, but until then, I use Battery Indicator from Playstore.

Moto's latest 2.3.6 update has made the battery accuracy borked and I wouldn't hold your breath for a fix because they've EOL'd it. The only solution is rooting and applying a battery stats reset.

I use Elixr Widgets which does all sorts of things and can create some amazing widgets for your desktop, but most importantly for me, on my settings widget it shows 1% battery increments, and appears to be very accurate. Currently, having un-plugged it at approx 9am this morning it is sitting at 87% battery life. That's after doing an awful lot of tweeting, texting and news-checking this morning, as well as a 2 min phone call.
