Atrix 4G Good Device as Laptop/Netbook

So I ended up having to upgrade my phone, a week ago, because of tech. issues that wouldn't go away after doing a hard reset. My cellphone is my only mobile device and I depend on it a lot. So, I upgraded to the SGS4 and what a super phone it is. (Just love it.) Before I upgraded, I pondered the thoughts of what i would do with my Atrix 4G and all the docks I have. (Didn't pay full price for any of them.) Well, the thought crossed my mind, that I could still use it like I do now, just have to on wifi for data. So, I have only installed my office apps, games I like and ebook readers. It works perfect. So I still use it to as a laptop/netbook, watch Netflix, HBOGo and movies on the lapdock or HD dock at home.

So, it wasn't a total waste and I still have the functionality I fell in love with using the Atrix 4G. (My 10 yrs old daughter was hoping to get my Atrix 4G and a little disappointed that she's not getting it.)

Nice!
I assume you are using the laptop dock?

In any case, I have the media/entertainment dock. I was considering the laptop dock, especially since motorola moved away from the whole dock-design stuff.

Nonetheless, great that you're able to continue to make under phone live :)

That's correct. Its the Laptop dock. (I have the HD dock too.) Since my SGS4 can't connect to the laptop dock as a USB device, I have to use bluetooth to transfer files and stuff. (It's actually really neat how that works) So I can work on office documents on the laptop dock, without wifi, and send the document to my SGS4 for storage. (My SGS4 is my primary device.) Another thing I noticed is I have some productivity apps that are cloud based. So I can make a change on either device and it's synced to both devices.
