First, I am a newbie to the Android hacks and mods.
My ATRIX 4G currently at system build 4.5.91MB860 ATT and Android 2.3.4 has lost its root access (Webtop Hack was applied). To complicate matters I disabled the BlurUpdate.apk by renaming it to BlurUpdate.apk.bak (some time before I lost my root acccess). This was done to avoid the constant system upgrade messages that I was receiving.
My attempts to re-root the ATRIX 4G have been unsuccessful. I can not get pass the ADB SHELL command. I get an "error: device not found" message. USB debugging is enabled for the phone.
Ultimately, I want to enable the BlurUpdate.apk and remove the webtop hack. I only implemented this hack to correct my lapdock reboot problem. This hack has proven to be less than successful in resolving the reboot loop problem with the lapdock.
