Help my motorola atrix 4g won't boot it get to the dual core screen and won't boot from their ( phone is unlocked but might be rooted)

Have you thought about master rebooting it? Theres a way to do it if it won't boot up. Ive had to do it quite a few times. Ill list the steps below:
1. Power off the phone, press and hold the volume down button and power button simultaneously while powering up the unit
2.screen will come up with "fastboot" at the top of the screen, press volume down key to cycle through choics until you get "Android recovery", then press the volume up key to boot in this mode
3 wait for the "triangle!/android" screen
4-(it's different for gingerbread and froyo)
Froyo: tap on the bottom right corner of the screen (it may take a few tries). A menu will come up
Gingerbread: press both volume up and down keys simultaneously.a recovery menu will come up
5-
Froyo: tap on "wipe data/factory reset" tap yes and ok
gingerbread: tap volume down key until "wipe data/factory reset" is highlighted, tap power button.another screen will come. Scroll to yes and tap power button
6: "reboot system now" should be highlighted by default
froyo:tap ok
Gingerbread: power button
7: phone will reboot to initial setup MOTOBLUR screen

I really hope this helps. You can sign in to your gmail account and (if they're synche) you'll have all your contacts and such. Rebooting your phone wont mess with anything on external storage (i.e. SD card)
