Atrix typing problems

Hey, i bought my Atrix the first day it came out i really like the phone but just today i started having this problem. Wen im trying to type on my phone the letters W, E, and S dont work but if i turn my phone to use the side keyboard the W, E, and S keys work but my M and backspace dont work. If you guys can help me that would be great =)

Hello and welcome to AF.

Have you tried using different keyboards? Like swifty key, Go keyboard and the Gingerbread keyboard? Maybe those will work better than your stock one.

it didnt work ...like my hole left side of my phone doesnt work =/

Sounds like something is up with the touch screen then (Sorry for my lack of a better word) and you might have to get it looked at maybe or get a replacement. Did you drop it?

EDIT: Try just resetting your phone and see if that helps. Not a factory reset.

i havent dropped it in a while and ive tried resetting it but nothing ...ill see if i can get a replacement on Friday or something ...thank you for your help btw =)
