ATT MARSHMALLOW UPDATE TODAY?! 03-11-2016

This is beginning to tick me off a bit. For those of us that have the Note 5 I would suggest raising hell with both Samsung and AT&T and let them know that this delay is completely unacceptable. When I had the Galaxy S3 the Kit Kat update for it did not take half as long as this. I am also seeing some rumors that Samsung will skip Marshmallow altogether on the Note 5 and go straight to android N. The bad news about that is Android N will not be available until mid May on Google branded phones leaving the Android N update as being available for Samsung devices no earlier than July.

This is getting Rediculous now every carrier except At&t has updated their 2015 samsung variants to marshmallow.... I'M BEGINNING TO WONDER IF AT&T will ever do it!!!!

:-( ;-( :-( :-(

Same Here. I just talked to a yahoo at one of the AT&T stores and he blames Samsung. I am calling BS on that since every other carrier has it and AT&T doesn't.

I would imagine that at&t is well aware of its irate customers and really doesn't care. At&t is supposed to be the first to beta testing MM but I can't find any feedback from them.

I'm beginning to believe we will never recieve it, even though literally all the other carriers updated their version of the SAME PHONE... at&t has really dropped the ball and do they care of course not... this sucks!!!!

Okay so I'm going to say it's probably never going to happen for us unfortunate souls who own an AT&T note 5.... marshmallow is like the forgotten fruit we will never get to taste apparently....

Thanks At&t.....

The latest thing is the FCC is getting involved. The FCC is investigating why it takes carriers so long to push update whether they be new android versions that contain security updates to just plain security updates that should be pushed out monthly. The FCC has received numerous complaints that the carriers are witholding updates leaving millions of customers vulnerable to malware. If this is true I hope some huge fines against carriers that want to sell you phones but don't want to give you any after purchase support.
