Up to mid April my attwifi worked fine along with my other open wifi hot spots. At that point I could not connect to attwifi (starbucks/mcdonalds) but could easily connect to all others including my home network. Since that time with at least six calls to attwifi in multiple starbucks they were unable to help me and they still can't to this date. Tablet is LePan II 3.2 and the latest firmware update. The bluetooth external KB works well every time. The GPS also works Every other open wifi I try I can get on but not attwifi at starbucks, etc. Sometimes (> 3% of the attempts) if I just leave the wifi on and do other things non online, it will connect after 20-45 minutes. It seems to have a problem idying my MAC address and providing a IP address. Fing is great for looking at wireless. I have tried various settings with "GPS, use wireless for location, Notify me, google collect loc info,) turn on & off b ut it makes no difference to connectivity. All other functions of the tablet are great. Frustrated!!

ATT open wifi tablet failure

A cheap Chinese tablet...unfortunately flaky wifi, or the wifi packing in completely seems to be a very common problem with these devices. Probably not much you can do about it, except send it back, RMA it for repair or replacement, hopefully it's still under warranty.
