Help Attempting to reinstall 4.1.2 - can't find ADB driver

I am following this tutorial: DroidViews | Nexus S Guide: Flash Android 4.1.2 JZO54K Factory Image

I installed Samsung USB driver for mobile phones (v.1.5.3.0) and when I go to device manager (to update the Nexus S driver to ADB), I click 'all devices' and of course, tons of devices become available. Three types of Samsung devices pop up, none of which offer the Android driver.

However, I can browse the .inf file through device manager, as a means of installing the driver manually ('have disk' option) but there are so many folders in the Samsung USB driver folder, which these unfamilar names (Like, Semmental, HSP, flashusbdriver) so I'm not sure which one to choose?

Or is there another method I should try?

Thanks

Hi
I'm new to the flashing of roms, etc. but was given some useful advice that helped.

I have recently flashed my Nexus S using the Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.3 from ‘Wugfresh’ (new v1.6.4 coming soon): decipher the links below and remove the ‘underscores’ to access the info, I don’t have enough posts to allow me to link correctly

I was having a few issues with my Samsung drivers so installed the later version 1.5.23.0 with ADB and Fastboot tools from here :
(h_t_t_p_:_/_/_www_dot_modaco_dot_com_/_topic_/_361286-25042013-latest-samsung-usb-drivers-for-mobile-phones-15230-win-87xp-adb-fastboot_/)

Hopefully I've got enough posts to edit this to allow links to be displayed

After installing the 1.5.23.0 version my Nexus S connected without a hitch.
(Running Win XP Pro, SP3)

The toolkit is extremely helpful and fairly simple to use. Offers helpful tips and hints as you attempt certain actions. This made the process so much simpler for a novice such as me.

You also have to have USB debugging 'ON' for the program to work with ADB.
Accessed through: Settings - {} Developer Options
If you cannot see {} Developer Options
Go into: Settings - About phone
Then tap 'Build number' seven times
(Not sure if this option is available on ALL rooted/unrooted phones, it didn't work on a friends phone)

The toolkit allows you to perform a varied amount of tasks from Unlocking/Rooting/Backup/Restore/Flash stock + Unroot/OEM Lock, plus many more functions.

My Nexus S is running 4.2.2, Avatar Rom Version: 2.9b-701-20130503-crespo.
It was running 4.1.2 - JZ054K - I9023XXKI1

Hope this helps, if you use any of the supplied info report back how successful you were.

Happy Flashing
