Penfolds puts out some amazing and affordable wines. Would love to try a bottle from their Grange series but pretty sure my wallet wouldn't be happy.![]()


Tried the Duboeuf last night, it was not very good. Last years was so much better!
I try to get a bottle every year, it's fun to taste them. Sorely disappointed this year though, but there have been worse ones in years past for sure.
Never been a big fan of Duboeuf but that is the good thing about wine, there is something for everybody. I love Australian wines, I have an 02 Penfolds RWT and an 05 Amon Ra (this is one of those buy all you can afford when you see it, consistent 96-100 points) waiting! Unfortunately my cellar died so they are being held dormant in my fridge.
