Audio controls on lockscreen

KadenP

Lurker
I'm running Vanilla Rootbox 4.0 ROM, but this has bugged me with other ROMs for quite some time. I guess when 4.1 or 4.2 came out, Android started making audio controls on lockscreen available. That's wonderful for people that want them, but I HATE them. I've searched off and on for months to find out how to turn them off and all I ever find is people saying how glad they are to have them. No one seems to want to disable them completely, as I do. Can anyone please help me? I want the lock screen to look exactly the same no matter what apps are running on my phone.

Thanks for the suggestion, but Go Locker is a complete non-starter for me. I can't find any way to set what shortcuts are available on the lock screen other than changing themes, which are 98% paid (even though they say they're free) and there is absolutely ZERO security. Simply swipe the notification area down and anyone can see your notifications, then if they click one of those, or if they go to the settings and long press any of those they can bypass the PIN completely and have full access to the phone. Completely unacceptable.

EDIT: Go LOCKER, not Launcher
