Audio Editor or cutter

Evening folks am looking for somwe help here i am trying to send an audio file from my Xperia X10 via Email but says file it to large to attach so i down loaded an app MP3 CUTTER and cropped the file but have been waiting 2 hours for it to process the shortened version obviously this app does not work . Can anyone help me with another free app which will allow me to reduce the audio time on a audio clip so i can send it by Email

I use MP3 Ringtone Maker. It not only creates ringtones and notification sounds from MP3s but can also crop and save MP3s.
