Audio Equalizer for 2.1

[radsboy]

Anyone know of a good audio equalizer app for 2.1? All of the ones I saw listed on market were incompatible with my device.

Alternately, my device (HTC Droid Eris) can apparently be rooted up to 2.3. Does that mean if I do so it will support some of these other apps?

Equalizer - Android app on AppBrain

Thank you.

>>Latest version: 3.1.4 (for Android version 2.1 and higher)<<

2 lines on the site - which should I believe?

I don't have an account on appbrain, so I went to where it says I can get it on Google play - and it shows up as incompatible with my device.

:-(

Odd, yes I only looked at the Appbrain description. Sorry. You might look at Poweramp, it's one of the best players with best equalizers (but does cost).

Or if you're rooted: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795233

Thanks. I am considering rooting, as I said, and this may be the thing that kicks me that way. I believe I can upgrade this device up to 2.3 with the correct ROM once it's rooted.
