Help audio error on playback

just bought a MXQ quad core Android tv box Kodi and most of my films I have on my connected drive via usb only play video and no audio and have an error message that appears saying : INVALID LICENSE,AUDIO CAN NOT DECODE TO OUTPUT.

I've tried changing the Audio settings , but no joy ,,,

Any ideas would be appreciated...

I occasionally get this but haven't yet worked out why. I think it may be when audio is AC3

"INVALID LICENSE"...do the videos have DRM copyright protection? What format are they and where do they come from, e.g. Apple iTunes Store M4V movies, Netflix or Amazon purchases, etc.
