Audio player

[Android Question]

Ever since updating my s4 to the most rececnt version, anytime I try to play any of my downloaded audio files, the song plays for a second or two then cuts out and switches to the next song, before repeating the process. I have already tried factory resetting it to no avail. Any suggestions?

4.3 update, right? That's one of the bugs showing up. (Be glad the phone still works - that's another one of the bugs, a non-functioning phone.) You'll have to wait until Samsung comes out with a fix. (Which, as far as I can tell, will be after they acknowledge that there's even a problem - which they haven't done yet.)
