I come from a Rezound. Yes, I loved beats, but quickly got annoyed that it only worked with the stock music app, and I use Pandora far more often. I downloaded the app "Equalizer", set it to "Rock", and was very happy, I shut off beats. Sounded great in my crappy car stereo as well as through the beats earbuds. It was more intense but less clear than beats.
When I got my Maxx, I assumed it would sound the same..........wrong! It sounded like crap. I tried another app, sounded good for a while then crap again. Tried another, but it would turn off and on, and still sounded like louder crap with more bass.
I now uninstalled all audio control apps. It seems the vocals get swallowed up by the music no matter what I do. I would rather use nothing and have it sound like crap than use an app and make it bloated, tinny, washed out crap with too much bass.
Ideas? If I have to buy an app, I want an amazing one!
