Audio Recording App?

Is there anyway to record sounds with the OV, either some program already on the OV or maybe an app from the Market? I have a sporadic problem with my truck's heater fan, and I want to record the sound it makes so I can have the service department listen to it, just in case it doesn't actually make the sound while I'm there.

There is a recorder app in the app drawer if your not rooted

You should try Recforge lite. It sounds way better than the stock recorder app.

I looked in my app drawer, but couldn't find any kind of recorder app. What's the name of the app you're talking about? Btw, my phone is not rooted. Still stock from when I got it the first week they came out on VM.

I found the included recording app completely sucked. I picked up TapeMachine and have moved to using my OV as my primary field recorder now.
