Just upgraded from my X to the Maxx....but....
On the X I used the "Noisy One" ringtone, and "Lightning Bug" white noise generator with no issues. On the Maxx, there is an annoying skip in both. I know I saw a reference to certain quality of sound files having this issue, but can't find it again.
My questions:
1. Does anyone know of a current fix for this problem.
2. Fix or no, does anyone know if this is hard- or software related?
3. Is it possible this will be fixed with the ICS update?

Edit: I appreciate those that have looked at the thread, still looking for the answer. I stopped at a Verizon store today and we tried the Maxx on display and it had the same skip when playing the Noisy One ringtone. So it evidently has something to do with looping sound files.
If anyone has received the update to ICS, could you try the ringtone and see if it loops smoothly or skips? Thanks!
