Help Audio too quiet through bluetooth

colorfinger

Lurker
I saw the audio thread for aux cable but didn't want to side track it with a Bluetooth question. I'm running a stock sprint LG G Stylo that I got a couple weeks ago. I came from a Note II (switched from V to Sprint). I am using Sync on a Transit van (ford). I never had problems with my old phone or my wife's galaxy IV. With the new phone, however, it is so quiet I can barely hear people with the volume is maxed on the phone and the truck. Any recommendations that don't involve rooting for getting the volume up?

First of all... Thank you for making threads clean... Ok
Well it sounds like the hearing save stuff is has been activated. Check if you can deactivate from vol. Lets start with that... N sure you should try that app that @6th_Hokage recommended.

I got the work van back today so I was able to try out the sound issue with the Sync. The app didn't seem to help. I tried moving up the sound boost but it must not have been enough of a difference to notice. I had tried it with a Bluetooth speaker at the house and did seem to notice a difference so it may just be a matter of scale. I do like the app, however, so it was a worthy download. I'll take a look and see about the safe hearing settings.

I don't see any settings for safe hearing with the Bluetooth connection. I may just not be looking in the right place but I've looked under the settings for sound, calls, and Bluetooth.
