Help Authentication Error Occurred with Wifi Connection

Hey, I keep getting an Authentication Error Occurred message, while trying to connect to my Wi-Fi. I know the password is correct. Eventually, once I am home for maybe two hours, it'll suddenly tell me I am connected. Anyone have any idea what to do about this? It's driving me insane. Also, I am not very tech-savvy, so my options are pretty limited and mostly pretty basic. Thanks!

have you tried refreshing/rebooting your router or modem? that may help

Yes, actually tried rebooting the router on Thursday night and so far, so good! Thanks!
