Authentication Failed error when trying to set up email

I'm on T-Mobile with a Samsung Galaxy 4. I kept getting login failed error messages so T-Mobile told me to delete my email account and re-enter. When I did, it won't set up and says "Authentication Failed" while checking incoming server settings. Can anyone help?
