Help Authentication Problem connecting to work wifi

I have an ASUS Zenphone with Android, and I am having problems connecting to my work wifi. I have previously been able to connect fine using my work login and password, but yesterday I changed my work password and now am unable to connect.

Everyone keeps telling me to forget the network and then reconnect with the new password but I cannot get it to show me the screen to enter a password.

I go to Modify network, but there's nothing except EAP (SIM) and Proxy (none) and IP settings (DHCP). If I select different EAPs then one option (PWD) does give a password box, but when I typed in my new password it still says authentication problem.

Any suggestions???

Same issue I'm having with my Motorola. Work wi-fi changes the password everyday. I do the Forget Network, and then Connect and it seems to try and log on with the old password, but I can't get to the screen where I insert the new password. Arghhhhh.....

Hi

Open wifi settings
select network - long press it
choose "forget"
turn off wifi
turn on wifi
select the network and you should be prompted for the password

The "should be prompted for the password" was the issue - I wasn't prompted, even once going through those steps.

Fortunately I solved mine in the end - got my IT to take a look. There were two issues, firstly my EAP was set to SIM, which didn't show password, but IT advised to use PEAP instead, which does. Secondly it was actually my Identity which was wrong! Needed to add my domain name before my standard username.

Maybe that will help you too?

I think I figured it out this morning. Phone connects to the wifi, but I have to use Chrome to enter name & password. As soon as Chrome starts login page opens, enter name & password, then I'm good. Login page then changes to a logout page, and says to keep open to log out of the wifi.
I guess it really setup as a guest account for people that come into the building....not solely for employees.

Thanks for your helps.....

This is not a "connect to WIF" issue.
This is a captive portal login issue, and has nothing to do with Android.
