Help Auto brightness and dot view not working after lollipop

My dot view case no longer turns the display on/off when opened/closed. And also my auto brightness no longer dims my screen. I downloaded the update last night and I've given it some time to adjust. My screen stays very bright even when in the dark. And the most annoying thing is my dot view case not turning off my display. Is there any way to maybe fix this? So far its my only issue.

Uggg I have backups and all but I really don't want to .... Guess I'm gonna have to try it...
