toward the end of the thread, someone said it doesn't work in direct sunlight. have you tested that yet?

Yup i went outside and i could see the brightness slider going to the right. The thing is that is set to detect the light every time you unlock the device... So if you go outside with your phone already unlocked it wont work u till you lock and unlock it again
